Over the past 30 years, Todd Zucker has represented businesses, employers and individuals in a wide variety of legal matters, including:

  • handling business and employment lawsuits at all stages
  • contract negotiations and drafting
  • drafting, enforcing and defending non-compete agreements
  • Title VII discrimination and harassment
  • real estate disputes
  • shareholder and partnership disputes
  • providing legal advice regarding best practices for businesses and individuals to avoid disputes in the first place.

Todd received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, Plan II, in 1986 and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1990, where he was selected as a member of the Order of the Lytae.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and was admitted to practice by the Texas Supreme Court in 1989, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas and all state courts in Texas.

Todd holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has selected by Texas "Super Lawyers" (a Thompson Reuters service) from 2005-2009 and 2017-2019.  

Todd has jury and non-jury trial experience in Texas state and federal courts.  Todd also has a strong research and writing background which, combined with his analytical skills, enable effective representation at all stages of a dispute-both before and during trial as well as on appeal.  

Todd was Managing Editor of the South Texas Law Review and received an award for best article on litigation as well as an award for distinguished service.  He received the Houston Bar Association's President's Award for Outstanding Service after serving as Editor in Chief of the Houston Lawyer magazine.  Todd was also Chairman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Bowlegged H Magazine.  He has had legal and non-legal articles published in numerous magazines and newspapers and is known for a clear and persuasive writing style.
